The Kingdom Mindset
John 17:15–18 (ESV) I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.

Mindset: This Is Not My Kingdom
I am not a citizen here. This is not my home
Philippians 3:20–21 (ESV) But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Judah Exiled in Babylon
King Jehoiakim failed to pay tribute to Nebuchadnezzar

Solomon’s Temple destroyed
Israel was deported fro Judah to Babylon in 597 BC.

You & I

May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

This is not my home.

This world story is not my story
My story may be celebrated here on some level,
I have a kingdom story
There is a kingdom bigger celebration of my story
Revelation 20:12 (ESV) And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.
We don't want to become so occupied in winning battles (marriage, career, home, survival, kids, college) that we lose the war (healing, salvation, kingdom advancement)

We are so worried about the world infecting us
This is not my kingdom
This king is not my king
These laws are not my laws
This economy is not my economy
This culture is not my culture
This worlds limitations are not my limitations
Healing, resources, favor, supernatural distinction.
Matthew 7:7–11 (ESV) “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
These punishments are not my punishment
You can’t put me in jail -
Isaiah 54:17 (NASB95) “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD.
I can enjoy my Kingdom benefits NOW
