Day 4 - Don't Be A Fool, Seek God’s Wisdom

Memory Verse: Ephesians 5:17: "Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 7 Israel fasts as part of repentance and seeking God’s deliverance from the Philistines

Primary Thoughts:

  1. The world considers impractical ideas to be foolishness

  2. Biblical foolishness are ideas/actions that have not been run through the filter of God’s Word and prayer.

  3. Wisdom is acting on what God says for the setting your are in, which can often appear to the world to be impractical and foolish.

  4. Faith is trusting God.
